A strategic collaboration formed between Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS) and SGTech, to establish a deep partnership the in the local blockchain ecosystem by leveraging on each other’s networks.
This signing ceremony was witnessed by Guest of Honour - Minister of State for Communications and Information, Mr Tan Kiat How.

A one day workshop with experts from the UOB Fin Lab.
This workshop covered on topics such as design thinking and shows a suite of tech solutions curated for participants to strengthen their digital capabilities.

MAS Consultation Paper - Proposed Payment Services Notices on Prevention of ML and Countering the Financing of Terrorism
On June 6, 2019, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) launched a consultation paper proposing two new payment services notices on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing — one addressed to holders of a payment services licence for the provision of specified payment services and one addressed to holders of a payment services licence for the provision of digital payment token services.

Consultant Paper on Proposed Payment Services Regulations
The Payment Services Bill was introduced and passed in Parliament on 19 November 2018 and 14 January 2019 respectively. At the commencement of the Payment Services Act 2019, the Payment Systems and the Money-Changing and Remittance Businesses Act will be repealed. Under the PS Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore will regulate significant payment systems and the provision of payment services in Singapore.
This Roundtable will set out the practical implications of the MAS consultation paper. it will also seek to collate feedback, which will be distilled into a set of submissions to MAS.
